Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Altamonte Springs

Stopped in here the other day and the place was decorated nicely for the holiday. Staff was friendly, it wasn’t to busy. Food took about 10 minutes for two people which is reasonable. I however didn’t like that the tenders were so small. I ordered a 5 piece, and got about 10 small pieces. Coleslaw was not fresh, but everything else was delicious and flavorful. I love their signature sauce. Amazing as usual

The food is always great. I love this place and every location. But THIS location in particular has a terrible manager who does not care about the customer. "It's not my responsibility to--" ma'am it is LITERALLY your job and responsibility to do whatever is necessary to keep things running smoothly. But anyways. The STAFF is wonderful. Nothing against them. Staff and food are great. Just don't expect the manager to help you if you need it.

I visited the Altamonte Springs location on sunday Oct 29, 2023 around 2pm. There was no line and two tables of guest dining in. The cashier Joshua was nice and took my order like normal. I sat at a table waiting for my food, i ordered two, 6 piece tenders. The table i sat at was very sticky but there was an employee who was cleaning and she was very nice to offer me a water while i was waiting. However the food took about 20 minutes to come out! I was shocked because it was not very busy but the food took so long to come out. once i got my order I rushed home to eat, but when I opened to eat, the meal looked terrible. The tenders were VERY small, tiny, and mostly soggy breading with very dry little strip of chicken . There was plenty sauce but the tenders were so small, the To-Go box was 3/4 empty. I am very disappointed I spent 27.58 $ for this meal that did not look or taste good. We live about 30 minutes from this location and wanted to watch the football game so I did not return to the store to have things remade. This experience was VERY POOR.

I visited this location about a week ago after my doctor appointment. I love Magoo’s although I don’t go often. One day I plan on ordering a salad. I ordered my usual; kid meal 2 strips, fries, toast and Magog sauce not spicy. I don’t eat a lot so this is perfect for me, you also get a drink. You get the option of soda, tea sweet or unsweetened, lemonade and water. There could be more options I just don’t remember. The food was fresh and my waiter was kind with a smile, love that. The wait is about 5 minutes and I had a short conversation with another staff member who was also nice. Kindness makes my day. Not pricey I spent less than $8. No photos I wasn’t expecting to give a review.
